Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to some questions we are often asked. If you cannot find the answer to any question you may have about the school and our programmes, on this page or elsewhere on our site, please contact the school and we will be happy to help you.

How do I register?

The best way to register for a course is to contact the school directly by e-mail. You can send us an e-mail with your enquiry or you can return one of the downloadable forms from the documents page. We welcome personal callers to the school, but we would ask you to call us in advance to make an appointment.

Once we have received your registration, we will contact you to arrange a short test. The test is designed to ensure that groups of the same level are organised. This test is completely free.

Where is the school?

Languages Unlimited is located in the heart of Brussels close to European Union institutions. The nearest underground station is Montgomery. This is only 300 metres from the school. Montgomery is also served by trams and buses.

The school is easily reached by car. Coming from the all directions, take the ‘ring’ and enter Brussels by Avenue de Tervuren, the E411 viaduct, or the E40 and follow directions to Montgomery.
Please note that all streets in the area are equipped with parking meters.

Can you help with accommodation?

Unfortunately, we cannot help you find accommodation in Brussels if you are a foreign student. We can give you the addresses of reputable organisations which can help you find somewhere to stay. Any arrangements you make are between you and the company involved.

Can you help with visa?

We are unable to help with visa applications. For visa information you must contact the Belgian embassy or consulate in your country before arriving in Belgium.

Who can join the lessons?

At Languages Unlimited we accept everybody into our group courses. However, due to the nature of group lessons we do not accept young people under the age of 18 in groups of adults. Young people and children are placed in their own groups which ensure they receive the most appropriate teaching for their age level. Groups for younger students are generally held during the school holidays or on Wednesday afternoon.
Foreign students are advised to contact the Belgian embassy or consulate in their country to check any visa or residence/study requirements.

How can I pay?

Payment for lessons can be made by bank transfer from a recognised Belgian or foreign bank, or by Bancontact electronic card payment. Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit card or cash payments.
Special conditions apply to In-company courses.
